Invasion games festival was held on 25th January 2018 and hosted at Gomer Infant School.  11 children from Years 1 and 2 were chosen to represent the school at the festival.  They competed in year group teams, against 3 other schools, and participated in a range of games including hockey, basketball and  football.  Despite the cold weather outside, the children were determined to get involved and were very active!  All the children and staff enjoyed this event.  All the children involved were thrilled to have worked so well as part of a team and scored points during each game.  They achieved 2nd place overall and were awarded silver medals in assembly.
