Since January 2018 Year 1 and 2 have been involved in a ’10 minute mile’ to improve their fitness and get active. The children are encouraged to improve their stamina through walking, jogging or running for the allocated time. This outdoor physical activity focuses on the personal achievements of each individual child. The Young Governors are currently getting ideas from each class, for imminent discussion with Mrs Marshall to get some ‘Gomer Mile’ markings painted on the playground. Watch this space!
