This week Year 1 have been learning about the Chinese new year.  This Chinese new year is the year of the pig, the children made pig and dragon masks and Chinese lanterns.  We also had a go at some Chinese writing and found out if they were born on the year of the dragon (2012) or snake (2013).   The children made dragons from lego, and also solved a Chinese zodiac number problem.  We had lots of fun learning about the Chinese new year.
