Summer 1 2016
The RNLI visited Year 1 this term and the children learned about water safety. Ask your child what numbers to ring if they spot someone in trouble at sea!
We have been exploring our new forest area and deciding what we need to do to look after it. We look forward to lots of outdoor learning in the next weeks to follow. Thank you to parents for contributing plants to our year group, the children are looking after the plants carefully and are looking forward to seeing our beautiful outdoor area.
This half term we have had a tennis coach work with us in PE, we are improving our skills every week.
We have booked our school trip to Hillers Arboretum on 1st July, further details will follow soon. We will be sending home a savings chart before half term so the children can do lots of jobs for you to earn money to contribute towards the trip.
