Year 2 this term have been learning how to improve their instructional writing by using adverbs and commands.  This was based on the story ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ and children created instructions on how to make sweets.  Parents were invited after school to come and try the sweets and the children shared their written instructions with their parent.
