This term in our science work we are going to be investigating the properties of materials. We have started learning some new words including transparent and opaque, absorbent and not absorbent to help describe the properties.
Since January 2018 Year 1 and 2 have been involved in a '10 minute mile' to improve their fitness and get active. The children are encouraged to improve their stamina through walking, jogging or running for the allocated time. On the morning of Tuesday 12th December 2017, Year 1 pupils performed to their families their carol concert. The performance was well attended and the children enjoyed singing their songs to everyone. Thank you to all the parents for supplying the wonderful costumes for the children to wear today.
