Gomer Infant School hosted a gym festival on Thursday 16th March after school. A few children from Year 2 participated in the festival competing against other infant schools in the area. Gomer Infant School came second in the festival and received best performance for vaulting and best boy overall was Harry in Year 2! Well

This months Dad's club was the egg drop challenge. The children brought in a real egg and designed and built the protection. Once built the children put their protection to the test and dropped the egg from a 'great height' to see if it would survive or smash. The children did a fantastic job as
Last week's learning in the forest for Year 1 was team building. The children worked together to build the strongest house, a stick house for the big bad wolf to blow down from the story of The Three Little Pigs, map read with a partner and made bird feeders.
