This week Year R's forest learning was looking for signs of spring.  The children used magnifying glasses to look for evidence and used the iPads and cameras to take photos.  The children also did observational drawings of spring flowers.  The final activity of the morning was to work as a team like our learning powers

This week we chose which activities we wanted to do.  This included making a park for our dinosaur,  digging for fossils, following a trail of dinosaur footprints, litter collecting and of course enjoying hot chocolate! We all joined in to make a life size Stegasoraus using rope and all fitted inside with room still left!

This morning was filled with lots of singing and laughter as the children watched Cinderella performed by M & M Productions.  The panto had everyone on the edge of their seats as they watched Cinderella meet her Prince Charming. A small group of children represented our school at a Gosport KS1 maths competition this Monday held at Bedenham Primary School.  Jessica and Joshua from Year 1, Wendy and Jack from Year 2 worked fantastically as a team and wowed Mrs Hughes with their maths skills.  Well done to the children for representing Gomer Infant School.

Gomer Infant School have this week received a certificate from Save the Children for our Christmas jumper fundraising day on 16th December 2016.  The day saw lots of children and staff dressed in jumpers with lights, tinsel and even music, many children and staff having created their own designs.  We raised in total £138.97 for
