This week in Dad’s club, we attempted to make batteries out of lemons, potatoes and other fruit and vegetables to produce light.  After some time spent using the fruit and vegetables we could not produce enough current to light the bulbs, instead we wired up lots of bulbs and fans in a circuit and got them all working at once using batteries!  We all had our usual fanfare of breakfast butties and then embarked on some more exciting activities.

Dad’s club is held once a month wither on a Saturday or Sunday from 9.00am until 11.30pm, all Dad’s/Grandad’sUncles are invited to come along.  Cost is £1.00 per person and includes breakfast butties.  New dates from September 2017 will be confirmed on the school website.  Please go the ‘Parent Partnership’ page under the parents tab of the school website for more information regarding clubs held at Gomer Infant School and information of Mrs Russell’s Home School Link role.
