Meet our Aliens
At Gomer Infant School we promote respectful behaviours and the key skills of being a highly effective learner through four alien characters. We use the aliens to celebrate effort and encourage the best possible behaviours and attitudes for outstanding learning. The aliens come from the Learning Planet and all have special learning powers.
SEGER
helps us to persevere and manage distractions and feelings. He helps us to know that we can learn from our mistakes.
SUPER TEAM WORKER
helps us to know how to be an excellent team member by listening and learning from each other, taking turns and sharing our ideas.
REFLECTIVE DETECTIVE
encourages us to have a growth mindset by challenging ourselves and to use ‘first thinking’ and ‘better thinking’ to improve our learning.
RESPECTOR
is the alien that reminds us of our respectful behaviours. He listens carefully and is kind and safe. Respector helps us to remember to look after our school.

Everyday a child from each class will be given the Respector Award and will wear the badge all day.
