Year R have settled in to school life brilliantly, the children have been having lots of fun making new friends, learning new skills and enjoying lots of different activities.
For our first full time week at school, we read the story of Pete the Cat rocking in his school shoes and then we (children and staff!) had a turn rocking out in our new school shoes!
We have also been learning about nursey rhymes and have been role playing Little Miss Muffet.
We also enjoyed our first day in the forest. We challenged the children to build a den for an animal teddy. We asked them to work in partners so they had to listen to each others ideas and work in a team.
