Starting school is a big milestone and it has been a pleasure to welcome the new year R children to Gomer Infant School. The children look wonderful in their new smart school uniforms.
Since starting school the children have been very busy getting to know their teachers and making new friends in their classes- Hedgehogs and Squirrels. They are particularly enjoying discovery time (child-initiated learning) and exploring all the learning environments especially outside as we have had some beautiful weather!
The Squirrel and Hedgehog ladybirds have also enjoyed experiencing lunchtimes. We have had lots of empty plates and full tummies! Well done to the grown-ups who have remembered to pre-order their dinners. The food looks delicious!
The whole year R team look forward to seeing you at our first whole school parent event – Big draw on 22nd October.
